Sansad adarsh gram yojana is rural development programme focusing upon the development in the village which include some aspects such as :-
- social development
- cultural development
- spread motivation
FEATURES OF SCHEME:-
- It is initiative to bring all the member of parliament of all the political parties under the same umbrella.
- Each member of parliament needs to choose one village from the constituency which they represent.
- The village which choose can't be their own and in-laws village.
- They can enlist one or more village and do the same by the time the next general elections.
- village will be offered:-
- smart schools
- health facilities
- pucca housing
GOALS:-
- The goal is to develop three adarsh gram by 2019 and the first adarsh gram was to be developed by 2016.
- total 8 village must be developed by each MP(one each year) by 2024.
- 6433 adarsh grams of the 26500 gram panchayat will be created by 2024.
FUNDING FOR SCHEME:- No funds are allocated to the scheme.
- funds from existing schemes.
- MPLADS(the member of parliament local area development scheme).
- Gram panchayat's own revenue.
- central and state finance grants.
- corporate social Responsibility funds.
- PHASE 1(2014-2016)-:
- LOK SHABHA- 500 out of 543 MPs adopted village.
- RAJYA SHABHA- 203 out of 253 MPs adopted village.
- PHASE 2(2016-2018):-
- LOK SHABHA- 323 out of 543 MPs adopted village.
- RAJYA SHABHA-121 out of 253 MPs adopted village.
- PHASE 3(2017-2019):-
- LOK SHABHA- 97 out of 543 MPs adopted village.
- RAJYA SHABHA- 27 out of 253 MPs adopted village.

- The prime minister Narendra Modi adopted 6 village at present.
- The constituency of Narendra Modi is Varanasi, U.P.
